Waiting in Line
So today I decided to be nice to the other little people printing things in the library. True, I was printing 311 pages, but I did it in chunks so there wouldn't end up being this ridiculously enormous line behind me. I did fifty pages at a time. Divide that in half because I did double-sided pages and I'm pretty much the nicest person ever. Problem is, there still ended up being a line behind me at one of my ventures into the printing room because for some reason people always decide to print their papers and articles and such all at the same time. To add to that, I'm pretty sure that the guy at the computer next to me thought I was crazy because I kept coming back with another big stack of pages. At least I now have the first part of my novel printed out and official (though I had to use two binder clips because it was too big for one). I just can't imagine how much people will hate me when I end up having a giant 1000 page stack of pages, just for my viewing pleasure.

Here We Go Again
Hey, I should start blogging, even if no one reads it. It can be my unofficial journal because I really fail when it comes to writing a journal. I should really just write down all the awesome things that happen to me so I can remember them forever, even if it does just come down to a sporadic, completely random, bulleted list.
- In two and a half weeks I had written over a hundred pages for my novel. How's that for dedication? Instead of simple editing it has become a total rewrite, and turning 179 pages into 111 is not an easy thing to do, especially when I end up changing one of the characters to make him totally awesome.
- Human foosball is probably one of the coolest things ever to do for FHE. It's just so entertaining to see a long string of people holding hands and running back and forth along a line. It's pretty awesom.
- I told myself that I would clean my room today and I didn't, but that's okay, I can do it tomorrow.
- Wednesday is Pretend to Be Engaged Day for me at Enrichment, just to see how people will react. That should be interesting.
- Either my back hurts or my wrist hurts. At least I'm not getting both of them at the same time.
- Is it possible for someone to become only slightly lactose intolerant at the age of almost twenty-one?
- It's rather hilarious when someone takes something I write and reads way too much into it, like when one guy reads a poem that I wrote about one of my characters and decided that I was aching inside because of a lost love and that I needed to hear the poem that he wrote in response, just for me. If he was twenty years younger, not married, attractive, and not the person that he is, I may just be in love with him. As it is, there's nothing, absolutely nothing, that even makes me want to talk to this guy more than I do during class, which is very little. He's not a bad guy, just old, eccentric, and married.
- Why do people tell me to smile more? I'm always happy. Pretty much always. Just because there isn't a silly grin on my face it doesn't mean I'm not happy. I think my face just naturally falls into a sad expression. It's not my fault, it just happens!
- The Hunger Games is quickly turning into a book that I cannot put down, a rarity when things get a lot of hype before I read them. We'll see how it ends and then I'll decide if I need to read the books that follow.
- Lois and Clark. I missed that show, I really did. Watching it now reminds me of when I was a kid and as a family we would watch it, along with The Price is Right, America's Funniest Home Videos, and Early Edition. Great shows. Oh, and you can't forget Boy Meets World and Sabrina the Teenage Witch!
That's it for now because I'm a little desperate to get back to working on the novel. Yup.
